Esse game foi desenvolvido pela Hazelight Studios e publicado pela Electronic Arts, foi eleito o Jogo do Ano de 2021 pelo Brazil Game Awards (BGA), júri independente que reúne mais de cem veículos, produtores de conteúdo e críticos de videogame.
Além disso, o jogo levou outros três troféus: Melhor Jogo Original, Melhor Jogo Para a Família e Melhor Multiplayer.
Horizon Chase: Senna Sempre, da Aquiris, ficou com o prêmio de Jogo Brasileiro do Ano. Marvel’s Guardian of the Galaxy, de Eidos Montréal e Square Enix, faturou três categorias: Melhor Jogo de Ação e Aventura, Trilha Sonora e Dublagem em Português.
